Assistant Manager-SQA

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
• Manage Quality Assurance activities of BIW,Plastic & Press parts
• Manage Quality Assurance activities Painted part(Body,Plastic,CED,Power Coating)
• Preparing Incoming inspection strategy to ensure defect free parts on line for assembly, Monitoring DOL and Non-DoL parts .
• Analysis and Co ordination for issues reported from Field & Line
• Ensure that the lessons learned from product families are shared with the platform team (COE, CDMM etc.) for new product development as input for prevention of repeated known issues
• Establishing corrective action plans using structured approach such as 8D, 7QC Tools, Six sigma for the quality issues reported in assembly Line, & Warranty failures.
• Supplier performance monitoring and drive for performance excellence.
• Conduct supplier audits, assess supplier performance, and manage corrective actions for quality issues with SQE teams
• Manage and track quality-related KPIs and metrics, and report on performance to senior management.
• Manage Defect and Improvement Documentation
• Work for reducing COPQ for line & warranty rejections
• Ensure Data Accuracy in SAP & other M&M workflow systems
Person Profile:
• Structured problem solving Yellow / Green belt (MYB/MGB/PGDQM)
• Knowledge of vehicle systems & their interfaces.
• Knowledage of SPC, MSA, 7QC tools, HEP techniques etc.
• Knowledge of stamping and welding process
• Self driven
• Assertiveness Team working
